It’s ‘Souled Out’ for this young British actor as Brennan Reece hits the 70’s dance floor and lets his hips move to the sound of music. With amazing flares, Lambretta scooters and beer at 14p a pint. Oh yeah! Let the good times roll, in the new British Film ‘Souled Out’.

Set in 1974, power cuts, strikes and boot-boy aggro on the terraces is just a few of many things that are happening in Joe McCain’s life. Joe is a young teenager from Stoke, who’s sick and tired of life that seems like a flat-line, going nowhere, and working in a typical mundane 9 till 5 job. Not content with it Joe wants to break out of this routine. He yearns for something extraordinary, something exciting... In steps bright lights of Wigan Casino (the home of Northern Soul) where he falls in love with music, the clothes and a girl! Life for Joe will never the same again...

Brennan Reece

In this spectacular film, Brennan Reece plays Dexie, a 19 year old try hard, who is caught up in the world of Northern Soul. He lives for the weekend and is just one of thousands of people who travel from all over the UK to get a piece of the action in Wigan Casino.

Only 21 years of age and his first ever professional acting job since leaving drama school, Brennan says “It was nervous being the new guy as many other actors have been in the business much longer than I have, but everyone was nice and polite they would look out for you and if I was doing something wrong they would come up to me and politely say look I’ve done it before too, do it this way.”

‘Souled out’ will be out early next year but if you can’t wait until then and want to get those hips into action please log onto the official website www.souledoutfilm.com where you can get a sneak preview of what’s yet to come.
